Fifth Street Parking Lot Improvement - Completed

About the Project

This year the Town has budgeted to make improvements to the parking lot between 311 & 323 5th Street in Downtown Frederick. These improvements will address existing subgrade issues, add additional public parking to the Downtown area, and further beautify Downtown Frederick by adding additional landscaping.

  • Total Budget: $292,308.82 (This includes funds for construction of parking lot and installation of irrigation/landscaping)
  • Location: Parking lot between 311 & 323 5th Street in Downtown Frederick.

Project Timeline/Important Dates

  • A contractor has been selected for the project. The contract will be brought to the Board of Trustees for consideration April 22, 2025.
  • Construction began in May and was completed in September.
