Silver Birch Boulevard and Bella Rosa Parkway Intersection Improvement

About the Project

The intersection of Silver Birch Boulevard and Bella Rosa Parkway was recognized as a Tier-3 Short Term project in the Transportation Master Plan (TMP), which are intersections identified for operational improvements and widening for high priority turn lanes.

The Silver Birch Boulevard and Bella Rosa Parkway Intersection Improvement Project will develop both an ultimate intersection layout representing full buildout conditions and an interim intersection configuration intended for near-term construction. The ultimate design will establish the long-range vision for intersection geometry, operations, and multimodal accommodations, ensuring compatibility with projected traffic demands and future corridor improvements. The interim design will be tailored to existing roadway, right-of-way, and utility conditions identified during the design phase and informed by an intersection traffic impact evaluation. This interim configuration will incorporate key infrastructure elements, such as grading, drainage, utilities, and pavement features that are strategically planned to support and transition seamlessly into the ultimate intersection configuration, minimizing future reconstruction and associated impacts.
