The Town of Frederick is committed to providing digital services that are accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website, adhering to many of the available standards and guidelines in the process. Our goal is to deliver a web experience that achieves “Level AA” conformance according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines v2.1 (WCAG 2.1).
In the meantime, to accommodate all individuals and ensure public accessibility, we have staff available to assist you in accessing all functions of the Town’s website and other technology by calling 720.382.5500.
Website Accommodation Requests and Feedback
The Town of Frederick uses the AudioEye’s Visual Toolkit, which is a set of usability and customization tools that make the Town website more usable for people with a wide range of disabilities, such as color blindness or seizures.
Using this suite of accessibility tools for text, font, images, spacing, and more, users can change the appearance of the Town website based on their individual needs and preferences. This ensures users can access and interact with the Town’s website, regardless of their level of ability.
