Hot Air Balloons & Pilots Wanted
We’re looking for hot air balloons and their pilots to attend Frederick In Flight and help create this memorable event. Interested pilots should email our team to receive an application and get more info on this Frederick event.
Sponsor Opportunities
Get a higher level of brand recognition when you sponsor Frederick in Flight! There are many benefits of sponsoring, including your business name featured on a sponsor banner, event promotional materials, and of course a hot air balloon flight for two! Check out our 2026 Sponsor Opportunities.
Food Vendors
There are many opportunities throughout the year for food vendors at Town of Frederick events. Interested in participating? The first step is to complete our Food Vendor Application (opens January 1). The Town reserves the right to accept or reject applicants and to make the final determination of participation.
Market Vendors
Market vendors have the opportunity to participate in our signature events during a vendor market at the event! To be considered a market vendor, you must fit into one of three categories (Grower/Producer/Food, Artisan/Crafter, or Non-Profit) and complete the Market Vendor Application (opens January 1). If your business doesn’t fit into one of these three categories, you can still participate in the event as a sponsor!
NO Drones!
During the entirety of Frederick in Flight from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28, we ask that no drones be operated in or fly above Centennial Park. Drones pose a safety concern to hot air balloons, hot air balloon pilots, and passengers. The Town certified drone pilots are the ONLY approved drones for this event.
Powered Paramotorists
From Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28, Frederick in Flight will be held at Centennial Park under a special event permit. During this period, the Town of Frederick has the authority to approve or deny any use of the park. Please note that skydivers and hot air balloons associated with the event will have priority. Ensure you are aware of all Notice to Airmen. Our goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone!
Notice of Filming and Photography
When you attend this event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition, and/or reproduction.
