Citizens of Frederick,

As your Chief of Police, I want to take a moment to address you directly and reaffirm our department's commitment to serving and protecting every member of our community with integrity, transparency, and compassion.

The police chief serves as the public face of the department, representing it in interactions with the community, local government, and the media. They report directly to the town administrator and help shape the department's long-term strategy. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations, the police chief also ensures that officers are properly trained, maintains internal discipline, and handles major incidents or crises. Their leadership is crucial in maintaining public trust and ensuring the department operates fairly and effectively.
