Dog Walker Watch

Dog Walker Watch encourages dog owners to act as extra eyes and ears while out walking their dog. Town of Frederick residents interested in participating in the program must attend a brief training with the Frederick Police Department, where they will learn how to spot suspicious behavior, when to call 911, reporting tips and safety reminders.Circular blue and red Dog Walker Watch with a red paw in the middle

To be a part of Dog Walker Watch, here's what you need to know:

  •  Attend one of our sessions or email our Community Service Officer to sign up.
  • Attend at least one training session held on the last Wednesday of every month, April through September
    • Wednesday, April 24 at 5 pm in Town Hall (401 Locust St.)
    • Wednesday, May 29 at 5 pm in Town Hall (401 Locust St.)
    • Wednesday, June 26 at 5 pm in Town Hall (401 Locust St.)
    • Wednesday, July 31 at 5 pm in Town Hall (401 Locust St.)
    • CANCELED: Wednesday, August 28 at 5 pm in Town Hall (401 Locust St.)
    • Wednesday, September 25 at 5 pm in Town Hall (401 Locust St.)
