The 8th annual Frederick in Flight will take place Friday, June 22, Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24, 2018.
This three-day hot air balloon lift is full of family-friendly activities. Around 40 balloons will lift off at 6 am each morning! The event peaks on Saturday with flight-themed activities in the morning from 6 am - 10 am and a Glow Party in the evening from 4 pm - 9 pm.

Frederick in Flight - Hot Air Balloon Festival. Join the Town of Frederick as we celebrate the many forms of flight in June with a hot air balloon lift, glow party, and tons of fun for the whole family! The balloons lift at daybreak, weather permitting. Balloons lift off between 5:30 am - 6 a.m. under ideal weather conditions.
The Glow Party will take place on Saturday evening from 5-9pm at Centennial Park and will feature live music, food vendors, beer garden, kids activities and hot air balloons candlesticking and glowing (weather permitting).
