The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) announced that the Town of Frederick received the GFOA Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the Town’s 2021 Budget Publication. “Our Finance Department worked exceptionally hard to meet the GFOA criteria required for the award. I’m proud to be a part of such an outstanding team!” said Kurtis Adams, Finance Manager. Would you like to know more about the Town’s budget process? The Board of Trustees will hold public hearings for the proposed fiscal year 2022 budget on Tuesday, November 9, and Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 7 pm in the Board Chambers at Town Hall (401 Locust St.). The purpose of these meetings is to be transparent and receive community input. Residents are encouraged to attend and express their views!
