On April 6, 2020, Gov. Jared Polis announced an extension to the stay-at-home Executive Order requiring Coloradans to stay at home as much as possible due to the presence of COVID-19. The Executive Order will now remain in effect until April 26. Exceptions to the order include obtaining food and other household necessities, going to and from a critical workplace, seeking medical care, caring for dependents or pets, caring for a vulnerable person in another location, or engaging in outdoor activities while practicing physical distancing.
Safety and the well-being of our community remain our top priority. While park spaces and trails remain open in Frederick, residents are encouraged to practice social and physical distancing.
