Construction has begun for the final repairs of the flood-damaged section of Aggregate Blvd (CR 7) but has been halted due to weather. At the end of October, CDOT approved the Town of Frederick to enter into a contract and issue a Notice to Proceed to Asphalt Specialties Co to complete the permanent paving of the section of Aggregate Blvd (WCR7) south of SH119. Asphalt Specialties has completed their surveying, soil work and equipment staging and will began construction last weekend. However, due to the weather, they have not completed the paving. In order to finish the paving, the weather must be in the 50s. Until then, there are 'bump' and 'uneven road' signs in place so please use caution when driving this stretch of road until the paving can be finished. Once construction resumes, traffic will be single lane with flaggers until completion. As always, we appreciate your patience!
