Water
The Town of Frederick understands the response to COVID-19 can lead to economic hardship. Until further notice, the Town of Frederick has suspended late fees and water shut-offs due to delinquent payments to ensure all customers have access to this vital resource.
East of I-25
Town of Frederick: In response to COVID-19, the Town suspended late fees and water shut-offs due to delinquent payment. Residents will continue to have access to this essential resource.
Although Town Hall is currently closed, there are easy and convenient options to pay your Town of Frederick utility bill for water, stormwater and trash. Pay your bill online, by mail or phone. Town staff is available by phone during limited hours of 10 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday at 720.382.5500.
West of I-25

Electricity
United Power: Due to the threat of COVID-19, United Power offices will be closed until further notice. United Power is suspending service disconnects and late fees for residential members. United Power will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate processes on an ongoing basis. If you anticipate difficulty paying your bill, please call United Power at 303-637-1300.
Remember, you don’t need to go to a United Power office to make a payment. They offer several convenient ways for you to access your account and make payments that are fee-free, secure and will post to your account immediately.
Natural Gas
Black Hills Energy: To support customers who may be impacted by the nation’s response to COVID-19, Black Hills Energy is temporarily suspending nonpayment disconnections. Information is available on their website about assistance options such as payment arrangements, budget billing and medical extensions. Customers can also call Black Hills Energy customer care specialists anytime at 1-888-890-5554.
