The Town of Frederick understands the response to COVID-19 can lead to economic hardship. Until further notice, the Town of Frederick has suspended late fees and water shut-offs due to delinquent payments to ensure all customers have access to this vital resource.
Remember, we are not accepting in-person payments at this time but we do offer several convenient ways for you to access your account and make payments. Customers can continue to pay online, mail in payments, or contact staff to pay over the phone. Staff is available on a modified schedule to help customers pay their bill at 720-382-5500 Monday-Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate our processes on an ongoing basis. Please note, if you anticipate difficulty paying your bill, please give us a call.
The following services are provided by and billed by the Town of Frederick. For details about charges please refer to our fee schedule.
Stormwater services are provided by the Town of Frederick for all residents and commercial businesses. Fees for stormwater are included on the monthly utility billing from the Town.
Trash / Recycling
The trash and recycling is provided for residential customers. All residential customers will receive a 96-gallon trash tote and a 96-gallon recycling tote. Trash service is billed on a monthly basis and is included on the utility bill from the Town. The Town of Frederick does not provide commercial trash service. Note: Please have bins out by 7 a.m. on your scheduled day. Check out other Pickup Guidelines to ensure your trash and recycling are picked up each time.
Connecting Services - Residential
If you are a new residential customer who is purchasing a home:
1. Fill out this Utility Agreement form to connect water, trash, and storm water service.
2. Email the complete form to NHunter@FrederickCO.gov

If you are a new resident of Frederick, please contact both Waste Connections at 303.288.2100, and the Town of Frederick at 720.382.5500 to begin trash service.
The Town of Frederick supplies water to residents whose home or business is located east of I-25.
Beginning January 1st of 2016, water usage rates will increase 5%. The increase is applicable only to the usage and will not apply to the base rate. Similar increases will take place each year on January 1st from 2017 - 2020.
A message from Central Weld County Water District (January 8, 2020):
Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District(NCWCD) will be shutting down the canal that delivers water into Carter Lake Filter Plant (CLFP) from January 14 – 17, 2020 for annual maintenance and construction. CLFP will use the District’s alternate water source from Dry Creek Reservoir to provide a continuous water supply to our customers. Our customers will continue to receive the high quality water they are used to, however, some customers may experience a slight difference in taste or odor during the shutdown of the canal. Rest assured that the water will be safe to drink and use as you normally do.
United Power is the electric provider for the entire Town of Frederick.
