DEREK TODD, TOWN ADMINISTRATOR
The Town Administrator is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Board of Trustees. He is responsible for the administration of the Town in accordance with Board actions and policies, the Frederick Municipal Code, and State and Federal law. The Town Administrator also provides administrative leadership and management for the day-to-day operations of the town’s five departments. He is required to submit a balanced annual budget to the Board of Trustees each fiscal year and develop management policies and procedures that allow for the effective delivery of municipal services.
