| Snow Removal Routes Adopted by Board of Trustees |
The Town of Frederick has a snow emergency plan that is put into effect any time accumulations of snow threaten to interfere with travel on the streets. The plows typically are deployed when there is two inches of snow on the ground and the forecast calls for more. The Department of Public Works has a plowing plan that requires that the major roads be cleared first, and other roads be cleared as conditions and equipment availability allow. There is a priority plan for street plowing based on the amount of traffic on the listed routes.
