The Planning Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd (optional) Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room located at 401 Locust Street. The Planning Commission consists of five (5) members and up to two alternates. The Planning Commission reviews annexations, zoning, subdivision plats and planning matters, and makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees. The Planning Commission is involved in revising and updating the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Use Code. Members of the public are invited to speak on regular agenda items during the public hearing portion of that item.

Vacancies on the Planning Commission – The Planning Commission has one vacancy for an alternate member. Alternate members participate in each meeting, but only vote when a regular member of the Commission is absent. An application must be completed and returned to the Town Clerk. The Planning Commission serves as a technical commission and generally meets once a month to consider land use applications. General knowledge of land use development is helpful.
