Member of the Longmont United Hospital Foundation Board, First Lutheran Church, Longmont, and Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce and President of St. Vrain Valley Education Foundation. BA-Political Science, Bethany College and masters in Public Administration, University of Colorado.

Active in Frederick High School Booster Club, Coal Ridge PTO, Frederick High School Accountability Committee, and church youth programs. Holds a BA in Elementary Education.

Trustee, 2006-present. Employed as detective with Westminster Police Department. With Westminster for 23 years and in law enforcement for 34 years total. Married to wife April for 34 years. Have daughter Pamela who is married (Jon Elslager) and resides in Tucson, Az. Have two grandchildren Isaiah and Myla. Resident of Frederick for 10 years. Former City Councilor and recreation district board member in Powell, Wy. Coached various youth sports including high school wrestling and football. Presently a member of the Miners Memorial Celebration Commission.
