General Information
The Town provides water, storm water, electric and trash services to residences within the Town. The Finance Department handles the accounting, billing, and collection of all customer utility bills for those services. The department also provides customer service to all customers and arranges all customer connection and disconnection of services.
The design, management and development review for the water, storm water and electric utilities is coordinated by the Engineering Department. The operations and maintenance of the water and storm water utilities is handled by the Public Works Department. The billing, operations and maintenance of the electric utility is handled by United Power* through a contract with the Town. Trash collection services are provided by Waste Collections* through a contract with the Town.
Utility accounts are billed monthly. Statements are mailed out on the last working day of the month and due by the 15th of the following month. The Town of Frederick also offers online bill payment for our customers.

If you have a water line leak between your meter and your house, it will be (in most cases) your responsibility. You may request a Town crew come to your residence to evaluate the situation.
