#WhatMatters

In 2016, we will be giving community members a way to connect with us and their neighbors using Social Media forums. Each month we will provide a different topic about being Built on What Matters  and the different forms that takes throughout the year.

In March, use #VotingMatters to tell us why voting matters to you. With the municipal election right around the corner (Municipal Election Day is April 5, 2016), we are aiming to let folks know how to vote and why they should vote. Share with us your reasons for voting, ask us a question, or just show off you doing your civic duty by voting! You can search for #VotingMatters on any of our social media sites to see what the Town of Frederick and others around you are posting.

If you have questions about voting in the municipal election, please visit the Election Information and Voter Information pages. Your ballots for the April 5th Municipal Election should be arriving in the mail this week! Our Town Clerk, Meghan Martinez, walks you through how to fill it out in this quick video.

To return your ballot, you can either drop it in the mail (it will need a stamp!) or bring it into Town Hall (401 Locust St.) and put it in the Ballot Box yourself!

We hope to keep the momentum going all year long, so stay tuned for new topics every month!
