The CVPRD Active Adults Program provides a variety of fun activities and events, including fitness, wellness, education and social opportunities.

Wednesday Luncheons


Each Wednesday, luncheons are offered at the Senior Center beginning at noon. Seniors must call 303.833.2739 by 1 p.m. the Tuesday before if they plan to be at lunch. Call in cancellations must be made by 1 p.m. the Tuesday prior, otherwise there will be a lunch charge. Menus can be viewed online.

Thursday Luncheons


Frederick seniors are able to take part in a Weld County Senior Nutrition Lunch Program. Served each Thursday at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center, 701 E. 5th St. This lunch is open to seniors 60 years of age and older. There is a $3.00 suggested donation per meal, and any guest younger than 60 will be charged $10.00 for the meal. Means are prepared by the University of Northern Colorado Dining Services and are nutritionally planned. Reservations for the lunch must be called in 24 hours in advance by calling the CVPRD at 303.833.3660. The lunch will be served in the multipurpose room at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center, 701 e. 5th St. in Frederick. Menus can be viewed online.

Snow Buddies Program


Can you help a senior with snow shoveling this year? Consider being a part of our Snow Buddies Program! We have seniors who have already signed up, so now we need some folks to help them out!
