Carbon Valley Transit Feasibility Study

Carbon Valley Transit Feasibility Study
Frederick, Firestone and Dacono each provided funds to match a grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation to complete a study that evaluated the need for transit services in the three Carbon Valley communities. The study developed goals and policies encouraging use of alternatives to automobile travel, including public transit. The three communities have formed a committee to decide the next steps to take for transit services in the Carbon Valley. The initial step is to provide information to help our citizens access existing vanpool and carpool services for our region.
