Event Details

The Frederick Market is gearing up for its seventh season, which will be the best one yet! The time of the market will be 4-8 p.m. in June, July and August and 4-7 p.m. in September and will be in Crist Park! All your favorite market vendors will be in the south portion of the park so everyone can take advantage of the lovely summer shade and open up parking on 5th Street.

The Frederick Market’s mission is to bring locally produced food and goods to the residents of the Carbon Valley area in addition to providing local producers a venue to sell their goods, promote their business and connect with the community. With the location and timing of the market, it has become a community gathering place to not only get great products, but also visit Downtown Frederick and receive community information. We will be having Downtown Sounds at The Frederick Market every week! We will feature awesome musicians to entertain while you walk around the market and enjoy Crist Park.

June 15th - Seeds N' Splashes: Join us for our annual Seeds N' Splashes event on the 15th. This event focuses on water conservation efforts and the value of incorporating gardening with fresh plants into our everyday lives. This event will be especially fun for kids as they plant their very own flower, fruit, or veggie seeds and participate in a casual water balloon toss!

July 6th - Frederick Market Donation Drive: Partnering with the Carbon Valley Help Center, The Town of Frederick is asking for your donations! Bring non-perishable foods, diapers, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash and toothpaste. A donation will get your name in a drawing for a basket of vendor goodies. Come out to support the community and Carbon Valley!

July 13th - Relay for Life: The Relay for Life team will be here to Paint the Market Purple! Along with educating market-goers about their mission, the Relay for Life team will have hope rock painting and other purple tokens to help support the fight against cancer. Wearing purple will get you a $5 discount coupon to any vendor booth at the Market!

August 10th - Fiesta Day: Gear up for Fiesta Day! We will have specially themed music for Downtown Sounds on this market day along with yummy food and drinks. If you are looking for a fun, original, and exciting time to visit the market - Fiesta Day is for you!

August 17th - Community Safety Day: Stay involved with safety in the Carbon Valley community. The Frederick-Firestone FPD will be at the market ready to meet community members and provide up-to-date safety information. There will be a firetruck, fire safety house demo and more!

Featuring fun and interesting activities for kids, this event will entertain and educate the whole family on best practices for sustainability.

September 21st - Movie Night: Come out to the market for your veggies and stay for a movie in the park! Frederick High School's fall play this year is Big Fish, and what better way to get people excited than Big Fish the movie? The market ends at 7 p.m. and the movie will be starting around 7:15, right after the high school drama department puts on a short preview. Admission is free; so bring your blankets and get ready for a fun evening!

September 28th - Oktoberfest: It's the Frederick Market everyone knows and loves! Help us ring in the age-old German tradition of Oktoberfest in our very own backyard. Beer, food, and fun - need we say more?
