The Frederick Market hosts several special events throughout the season; these events are geared towards learning new things, getting people in the community involved and having fun!
June 14 - Frederick Market Extrava-DAD-za!: Want to win dad a “Bluebarrel” rain barrel set up, a round of golf and a bucket of balls, or the chance to hit their beloved child with a creme pie?! This Thursday is your chance to make your favorite father’s dreams come true with dad-tastic raffles and a “Dads vs. Kids” challenge sure to give your child something to talk to their therapist about for years to come! June 21 - Seeds N' Solstice: Celebrate the First Day of Summer with fresh market produce and fun kids activities. This event celebrates the first day of summer and the power of the seed! Kids can make a "Living Seed Necklace". A seed is alive! Watch and wear your seed necklace during the germination process as it comes alive!
July 19th - Chainsaws, chuckwagons
August 9th - Fiesta Day: Gear up for Fiesta Day! We will have specially themed music for Downtown Sounds on this market day along with yummy food and drinks. If you are looking for a fun, original, and exciting time to visit the market - Fiesta Day is for you!
September 27th - Oktoberfest: It's the Frederick Market everyone knows and loves! Help us ring in the age-old German tradition of Oktoberfest in our very own backyard. Beer, food, and fun!
